VIKING RE-INTRODUCES BINOCULARS TO NIGHT VISION

Yukon’s Viking series provides versatility and comfort

 

Yukon products are controlled from creation to production and the Viking series is not an exception. This one-of-a-kind, night vision binocular houses surprising details that aid in observation.

         The compact Viking utilizes a covered, dual eyepiece, which is advantageous to the nighttime observer. The cover not only provides protection from excess light that causes light distortion, but also detection. While using any night vision device, the image tubes emit a green glow that is visible in the darkness. To avoid detection while observing with the night vision binocular, the covered eyepiece keeps the light in and the surroundings dark.

         The Viking line utilizes Yukon’s exclusive Eclipse ^TM lens cap system to remove lens-cap hassles, a compact body, center focusing wheel and a LCD readout that provides information, such as battery levels and time.

The most powerful and versatile of the line is the Viking RX 3.5x40. The Viking RX 3.5x40 utilizes a removable, individual, collimated, doubler lens that can be removed to form a 2x24 unit.

The Viking DL 2x24 and the Viking PRO 2x24 come equipped with a dual IR (infrared) unit, while the Viking PRO 2x24 does not include a LCD unit. The Viking LT 2x24 only provides a single IR unit and the Viking LT 2x24 WP is waterproof for a hands-on approach. The Viking NV 1x24 Goggle Kit contains a head mount and the Viking NV 1x24 unit for a hands-free binocular.
